This week, a friend messaged me and said they were taking an advocacy course. They politely expressed that they thought of me and my work with Wraparound and how it is what I do on a daily….

I was flattered but I began to reflect, on what is true advocacy work….seriously….don’t we all add a little of advocacy flavour into our practice. Maybe I am naive, but even at its smallest degree, if we work in the social/ human services it is part of our career?
